Sean Horton is an independent arts professional who works directly with artists, patrons, and press to organize exhibitions, produce special projects, and garner public support. He has earned a reputation for discovering and championing emerging and mid-career artists, providing critical support through their first solo gallery exhibitions, focused solo booths at major art fairs, and ongoing career development.

In addition to advising a core group of private collectors, he has facilitated the acquisition of numerous works by American museums, international foundations, and corporate collections, including sourcing over 100 pieces for the international art collection of Soho House.

Alongside his work with artists and collectors, Horton advises cultural organizations on institutional strategy, philanthropy, and public engagement. He has developed fundraising initiatives, communications frameworks, strategic partnerships, and special projects that help organizations articulate their mission, deepen relationships with patrons, and build enduring support for artists and the communities they serve.
